This pressure makes some people resort to heavy makeup, injections, and even cosmetic surgery.
While most people opt for small changes, others go all out with surgery. One of these individuals is 24-year-old Andrea Ivanova, who is obsessed with the size of her lips.
Using hyaluronic acid lip injections, Andrea has dramatically increased the size of her lips. Her goal is to have the biggest lips in the world. According to her, she’s close to achieving that.
Andrea, from Sofia, Bulgaria, has undergone 27 procedures, quadrupling the size of her lips, as reported by Unilad.
“I like them a lot and feel much better,” Andrea told Jam Press.
A Pricey Obsession
Andrea’s lifestyle isn’t cheap. Each injection costs about $150 in Bulgaria, and she has spent around $5,000 on her lips, according to Malay Mail. Despite the costs and risks, Andrea isn’t satisfied yet. She wants even bigger lips, although doctors advise against further injections.
“I want the biggest lips in the world,” she says. While she doesn’t hold the official world record, Andrea believes she has the largest lips.
“Many men from all over the world write to me on social media, offering me money, trips, and inviting me to meetings all the time,” she adds. Some of her followers agree that no one has bigger lips than Andrea.
Challenges and Sacrifices
Andrea describes her lips as “lovely” and plans for more injections, despite some doctors’ warnings. “Some doctors think I’ve had enough, but my doctor said he will do more injections for me if I wait at least two months,” she says.
Her large lips come with challenges.
“I like my new lips a lot, but it was hard to eat after the injection, and two to three days after the procedure, it gets more difficult. However, there are no restrictions on what I can eat,” she explains.
Dealing with Criticism
Andrea’s appearance draws a lot of attention, and she faces a lot of online hate. However, she mostly ignores the negativity. “I think everyone should look however they want,” she says.
