The Wall Street is undoubtedly one of the most famous streets in New York City. It’s where the New York Stock Exchange is located, and one major bank follows another here.
However, the Wall Street is not well-known for unusual encounters between four-legged creatures.
A lively French Bulldog and a good-natured police horse demonstrate that even in the heart of the financial world, things can get quite animalistic.
Frenchie in High Spirits
On one side of the barricade, two police officers are mounted on horseback. One of the horses stands right next to the barricade, extending its head to the other side.
This signals the appearance of the second main character in this scene: a French Bulldog in a wine-red dog coat.
It’s not known whether the little dog has ever seen a horse before, but he definitely behaves as if this police horse is the most exciting creature in the world for him.
The Little Bouncing Ball
The dog is not entirely sure how to approach the horse. He gets very close and sniffs at the horse’s nostrils.
In the next moment, his excitement gets the better of him. He starts bouncing around, sometimes up at the horse, and sometimes just in place.
At one point, he even bounces onto a girl who happens to be standing nearby. However, he keeps returning to the big horse’s head for more sniffing visits.
The horse also seems to find the lively little bouncing ball quite interesting. However, it maintains its composure.
After all, it’s a trained police horse. The encounter only ends when the police officer turns his horse around and rides away from the barricade.
Secret messages
Kenny K points out an interesting aspect in the comments:
“The amount of information being exchanged between these two through breath and scent is amazing.”
So who knows what the two silently communicated to each other without us clueless humans even noticing?
