By purchasing products from the iHugDogs store, funds are raised for the non-profit organization “Greater Good Charities.” This organization supports various animals through its GOODS Program, which delivers healthy meals to shelters and rescue organizations. Thanks to such donations, numerous animals have already been saved.

Jerome reached out to the Atlanta Canine Adoption Project when his cherished companion Bullet suffered a severe gunshot wound, putting his life in jeopardy. Despite Jerome’s desperation to provide life-saving care for Bullet, he couldn’t afford the necessary veterinary treatment. Fortunately, the Atlanta Canine Adoption Project, committed to helping animals in need, stepped in to save Bullet.

This remarkable organization not only facilitated immediate emergency vet care for Bullet but also raised funds to cover his lodging expenses during treatment and full recovery. Beyond that, they went on to address Bullet’s heartworm treatment. The entire kennel costs were covered, ensuring Bullet’s safety and well-being.

The crucial role played by Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program cannot be overstated in this rescue. Donations from the GOODS program enabled the Atlanta Canine Adoption Project to supply Bullet with food, treats, a leash, and a collar. These provisions not only kept Bullet nourished but also allowed him to accompany Jerome on walks and exercise safely.

With the GOODS donations lightening the burden of food expenses, ACAP could allocate a portion of its limited budget to provide essential medical care for dogs like Bullet. Without this assistance, Bullet’s life would have been at risk, leaving Jerome heartbroken and missing his cherished companion.

The Atlanta Canine Adoption Project’s ability to make a meaningful impact on animals in need within their community is truly commendable, and the GOODS program plays a significant role in their efforts. Since a portion of the proceeds from products purchased on iHugDogs.com goes to fund the GOODS Program, every supporter has played a part in saving sweet Bullet. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed!
