Winnie and Chips met for the first time
As Winnie glanced through a neighbor’s window, she could make out the silhouette of a figure. It had two ears and a wagging tail.
The shadow began to move and suddenly appeared at the window. Before Winnie stood Chips, her new best friend.
It was love at first sight

Both dogs were overjoyed:
“Winnie started running around in the yard like crazy, and Chips ran to the window to give her a kiss,”
said Sarah Madden, Winnie’s owner, to The Dodo.
Little Chips had been living in the neighborhood for some time before Winnie.
However, the two pups had never crossed paths until that day when fate had them meet through the window.
The dogs remained faithful to each other
After their first encounter, many more followed. Winnie insisted on visiting her new friend on every walk.
Little Chips would be sitting outside, eagerly waiting for Winnie to appear each time.
“At first, she runs to the window to see if he’s home. If she can’t spot him, she gets a little sad,”
Madden told The Dodo.
A beautifully animal gift
One day, Winnie came home from a walk and found a special Valentine’s Day gift waiting for her.
It was a toy with a handwritten note from her new best friend.

Of course, they had to reciprocate.
They bought a special toy for Chips, wrote a love letter, and even invited their furry friend to a date.
The first meeting without a glass barrier
When the day of the date arrived, Madden was a bit nervous. After all, it was their first meeting without a glass barrier.
“But my worries were unfounded. It didn’t take long for them to warm up to each other,”
Madden said to The Dodo.
It remains to be seen when the two pups will have their next date.
Until then, they will cherish the beautiful memories of their first time together.
