Losing a loved one is always painful, but losing someone young can feel like a heavy blow. This is the heartbreak many are feeling after the sudden passing of Lizzy Muci, the shining star of “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings.”
At just 33 years old, Lizzy lost her battle with stage IV breast cancer. Her father shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook on June 27. He wrote, “Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 p.m. tonight, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her own home.” He thanked everyone for their kindness and support throughout her struggle, saying, “We appreciate all of your well wishes and encouragement during her fight.
The family would appreciate some quiet time to grieve, process, and make plans at this time. As soon as we have new information, we will provide you with an update.”
Lizzy bravely opened up about her cancer journey in an Instagram post the year before. In 2023, she was diagnosed with triple-negative stage 4 breast cancer, and by the time doctors found it, the disease had already spread to her lymph nodes and liver.
Throughout her fight, Lizzy was candid about her experiences with various treatments. She even traveled all the way to Germany for specialized liver treatment, showing her determination to battle the disease.
Lizzy became famous alongside her father, Pat, on the Discovery Channel’s “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings.” Her talent and passion for racing helped her win multiple Pro Street World titles, making her a beloved figure in the racing community. Lizzy’s journey may have ended too soon, but her spirit will continue to inspire many.
