Movie legend and Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly’s granddaughter has grown up and inherited her famous grandmother’s beauty.
Grace Kelly, a Hollywood film star of the 1950s, had a prolific but brief six-year career. She was one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood, starting her performing career at 20 in New York City theatrical productions.
She quickly moved on to a busy TV career during the Golden Age of Television. With her poise, class, and stunning looks, Grace Kelly was perhaps the most beautiful actress of her era.
The Philadelphia-born star, epitome of class and beauty, appeared in many movies between 1952 and 1956. One of her notable films was the adventure romance “Mogambo,” where she starred alongside Clark Gable and Ava Gardner. This role earned her a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The following year, she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in “The Country Girl” with Bing Crosby.
Grace Kelly starred in 11 movies over just five years. Some of her most notable films include the comedy musical “High Society,” where she starred alongside Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra, and three Alfred Hitchcock movies: “Dial M for Murder,” “Rear Window,” and “To Catch a Thief” with Cary Grant.
At the peak of her success, the talented actress retired from the big screen at just 26 years old to marry Prince Rainier III and become Princess of Monaco. In just six years, Grace Kelly had made 11 successful movies, won two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and married a prince.
Her marriage to Prince Rainier III meant she couldn’t continue her acting career. Instead, she focused on her new role as Princess of Monaco and her philanthropic work. She had three children: Caroline, Princess of Hanover; Albert II, Prince of Monaco; and Princess Stéphanie.
Tragically, Grace Kelly was killed in a car accident after suffering a stroke and losing control of her vehicle. Her youngest daughter, Stéphanie, who was 17 at the time, was in the car with her and thankfully survived. Grace Kelly was just 52 when she died.
Her three children went on to have 11 children, all of whom seem to have inherited their grandmother’s style and elegance. One of her youngest grandchildren, Camille Gottlieb, is the 24-year-old daughter of Grace Kelly’s youngest child, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, and Jean-Raymond Gottlieb.
Camille, a Monaco resident, has two older half-siblings. Her half-sister, Pauline Ducruet, also resembles their beautiful grandmother. Camille, with her blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, unmistakably takes after Grace Kelly, especially when she wears red lipstick.
Although she’s not eligible for the Monegasque throne since her parents weren’t married when she was born, Camille has still captured public attention. According to Town & Country magazine, her father’s identity was kept secret for a while.
Camille’s Instagram account, followed by almost 95,000 people, is full of images where she looks just like her iconic grandmother.
It’s a shame Grace Kelly couldn’t have lived to see her beautiful family grow. She would have been incredibly proud of them all.
