A dog is simply left behind by its owner somewhereāa sadly common occurrence that happens countless times a year in Australia as well.
The heart of the dog breaks the moment it realizes that its human is gone and not coming back.

Desperate Search on the Beach
The sweet brown furball was abandoned at Pretty Beach, a beach in Australia that truly lives up to its name with its picturesque setting.
For the dog, though, it’s anything but beautiful to be there. Its owner brought it to this place, left, and never returned.
But it doesn’t know it’s been abandoned. So, day in and day out, it keeps looking at the beach to see if its beloved human will return and pick it up.
A kind-hearted woman named Jessie notices the poor dog and wants to help.
However, it’s timid, runs away from her, and doesn’t think about coming with her. After all, it needs to wait on the beach for its favorite human.
Jessie spends days and weeks trying to lure the dog. She has to track him down repeatedly because he wanders around and hides.
The young woman posts photos and the story of the dog, whom she names Ocean, on the community’s Facebook page, and soon she has many helpers.
People place bowls of food and water for Ocean and report to Jessie if they’ve seen him.
A Sigh of Relief
Suddenly, he’s gone for three weeks, and everyone is worried. But a camera installed by Jessie captures his image and leads the young woman to him.
This is the big chance. She whistles and coaxes him with loving words, and she also has chicken with her.
The hungry furball can’t resist the food. Jessie tosses pieces of chicken to Ocean, and he slowly approaches. Then he eats from her hand.
And shortly after, he curls up on her lap! The ice is broken, and how. Ocean has taken Jessie into his heart. Willingly, he goes home with her.
There, he becomes an immediate member of the family, spreading his love to the adults and the children.
All is wellājust not as expected
Unfortunately, due to the real estate crisis, the family will soon have to move from their house to a two-bedroom apartment.
They cannot responsibly keep Ocean in a small apartment without a garden. He is a big dog and enjoys moving around.
Fortunately, they find a loving owner for him. Tears flow during the farewell, but it’s for Ocean’s best.
