The question seems simple at first: how many triangles are in the image? But it turns out to be quite tricky for many people.

A lot of different answers have been given. This puzzle became famous when Jitesh Pillai, a fashion magazine editor, tweeted about it. Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Diana Penty noticed it and tried to solve it too.

So, How Many Triangles Are There?

This isn’t just about how well you can see the triangles. It’s also about using a smart mathematical method to count them quickly and correctly. This kind of puzzle is very common in India.
