With a withers height of up to 68 cm and a body weight of over 50 kg, the Bordeaux Mastiff is a true giant.
Quite the opposite is the French Bulldog, which appears to be pocket-sized in comparison, even among adult dogs.
In this video, the size difference is even more pronounced, as the French Bulldog is four weeks old, while the Bordeaux Mastiff is eleven months old.
But they have one thing in common: They are both genuine cuddle buddies.
Such an Amazing Surrogate Dad
The giant has stretched his two front legs on the carpet, making him look like an Egyptian Sphinx with a very unusual head.

The powerful Bordeaux Mastiff is the adoptive dad of the little one in front of him, and he dedicates himself to this role with touching devotion.
Buried, but Not for Long
It’s not so easy, though. The surrogate dad’s head is so big that he sometimes ends up burying the little Frenchie underneath while cuddling.

It looks cute, but the little one apparently finds it a bit stuffy and quickly wiggles out from under the giant head.
Cuddling Together
Rubbing noses and gazing deeply into each other’s eyes is much more enjoyable.
Junior doesn’t mind an occasional little kiss either. Moreover, the surrogate dad’s nose is big enough to serve as a perfect resting spot.
Once again, the big one underestimates the weight of his head. However, he immediately responds when the little one starts to breathe heavily and releases him.
One thing is clear: These two are genuine cuddle buddies who have found each other.
