Kristi had no idea how one ordinary flight would completely turn her world upside down. As a flight attendant, she was used to the quirks and drama of the passengers she served, but nothing could have prepared her for what she was about to discover. The man she had just seen showering affection on another woman in the sky was none other than her mother’s new fiancé.

It all began on a routine flight, cruising high above the clouds. Kristi was making her usual rounds, gracefully walking down the aisle in her crisp, white uniform. She stopped by a couple in business class, a man and a woman who were seated by the window, their faces glowing with joy.

I want you to meet Edwin, my fiancé,” her mother exclaimed, practically bouncing with excitement. Kristi’s heart sank. Standing before her was the very man she had just seen with the other woman on the plane.

Edwin extended his hand with a warm smile. “Pleasure to meet you, Kristi. Your mother speaks so highly of you,” he said smoothly, as though they had never met. Kristi’s stomach twisted in confusion. She shook his hand, forcing a polite smile for her mother’s sake, but inside, everything was turning upside down.

During dinner, Edwin showed off his cooking skills, whipping up an elaborate meal with the flair of a professional chef. As they ate, he told stories of his glamorous travels around the world. Kristi asked him about his past, but his answers were strangely vague. Something felt off, but Kristi couldn’t put her finger on it. After dinner, she pulled her mother aside for a private conversation, hoping to get some clarity.

“Mom, what do you really know about Edwin?” Kristi asked gently, trying to keep her voice calm.

Her mother’s face went cold. “Why would you say that? Can’t you just be happy for me? Edwin loves me,” she said sharply, her voice filled with disbelief.

“I’m not lying, Mom. Doesn’t this all feel rushed? I just want you to be careful,” Kristi insisted.

Her mother shook her head, her expression softening. “You’re just upset because of everything that happened with your father. Edwin is a romantic man, not someone to be suspicious of.”

Kristi let out a long sigh. She could tell that her mother wasn’t going to listen, but she couldn’t just walk away from her gut feeling. She needed proof, and she was determined to get it.

The next day, Kristi went to her airline’s office. After some convincing, she got a representative to dig into the records of that flight. It didn’t take long before she learned the identity of the other woman—Isabella. She had filed a report about a missing piece of jewelry after the flight. Kristi managed to get Isabella’s contact details and arranged to meet her in person.

In the restroom, Kristi searched through Edwin’s phone, her hands shaking. She found dating profiles and flirtatious messages sent to several women, including her own mother. It wasn’t the rock-solid proof she had hoped for, but it was enough to show his lies. Just as she was about to leave, Edwin burst into the restroom, his eyes wild with anger.

“Give me my phone back, or you’ll regret it!” he yelled, advancing toward her.

Kristi stood her ground, refusing to back down. The confrontation quickly escalated, drawing the attention of the restaurant staff, who called the police. When the authorities arrived, Edwin accused Kristi of theft, and she was temporarily detained.

At the police station, Kristi’s mother arrived, furious. “Kristi, this isn’t the daughter I raised,” she said, her face filled with disappointment. Despite Kristi’s pleas, her mother sided with Edwin, and left, cutting all ties with her daughter.

Kristi felt crushed, but she wasn’t ready to give up. With Isabella’s help, she used the evidence from Edwin’s dating profiles to warn other women about his schemes. They sent messages to expose his lies, hoping to prevent him from deceiving anyone else.

On the day of Edwin’s wedding, Kristi watched from the shadows. She had no intention of ruining her mother’s special day, but something unexpected happened. A group of women Edwin had conned appeared at the ceremony.

One by one, they confronted him, shouting accusations and exposing his deceit. The situation quickly spiraled out of control. Someone threw a piece of wedding cake at him, and he stumbled backward into a flower bed. The police arrived, and Edwin was arrested, his web of lies finally falling apart.

As everything settled down, Kristi’s mother refused to even look at her. Too proud to admit she had been wrong, she kept her distance. Kristi made the decision to give her space, knowing that one day, the truth would come to light. In the meantime, she found solace in the fact that she had done the right thing, even if it meant losing her mother’s love for a while.
