While walking her own dogs in Bali, a woman comes across a small dog that is emaciated, injured, trembling, and full of fear.
She can’t bear to leave the dog in such a condition, so she takes her and brings her to a shelter. There, the poor pup is to be examined and saved.
Completely terrified
It’s evident that this dog has had no positive experiences with humans. She trembles in fear and tries to hide when found. It takes a lot of time and kind words before she allows the woman to take her.
The woman immediately brings her to a shelter, where the dog undergoes an examination.
The dog is named Hope, and the vet determines she is only four years old. She has a crooked back and a hernia that requires surgery.
After a week in the clinic, she is entrusted to a foster family.
Hope learns to trust
Initially, she remains very frightened, trembling, and hiding. The situation overwhelms her.
But over time, she realizes that the people around her care for her and are kind.
Just a month later, she has changed significantly. Her fearful eyes radiate life, and her fur starts growing more.
In the coming weeks, she gains more weight and regains most of her strength. She becomes healthy again and is eventually adopted by a loving family.
Hope’s story also touches the viewers.
