A Cherished Memory
Charles “Bud” Phillips, a retired Vietnam veteran, was at a grocery store in Florida. While in the checkout line, he started chatting with Cena, who noticed Phillips’ SeaBees hat. Cena thanked Phillips for his service and then did something incredible—he secretly paid for Phillips’ entire grocery bill, which was around $100.

Phillips, who had lost his wife five years ago, hadn’t smiled so radiantly since her passing.

Beautiful story. Love isn’t love until you give it away. It’s obvious John lives in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Well done John.
I think it’s wonderful. When I meet a Viet Nam veteran the first thing I say is WELCOME HOME then thank them for their service. They did not get a welcome home they got spat on. They deserve so much more.
