John Travolta couldn’t hold back his tears: “You passed away today, baby girl. I’m so sorry. I’ll miss you…”
The world was heartbroken by the news of Lisa Marie Presley’s death.
Lisa Marie, daughter of Elvis Presley, was a mother of four: Riley, Harper, Finley, and Benjamin, who tragically passed away in 2020. She struggled deeply with Benjamin’s loss, believing he closely resembled his famous grandfather.
The singer-songwriter passed away on Thursday after suffering a heart attack. Paramedics rushed to her home in Calabasas, where someone had already administered epinephrine, and her ex-husband Danny Keough performed CPR. Despite being quickly taken to the hospital and placed in a coma, Lisa Marie did not survive.
Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, shared the heartbreaking news. “I must sadly inform you that my beloved daughter Lisa Marie has departed from us,” she said in a statement. “She was an incredibly passionate, strong, and loving woman, and I will forever cherish her memory.”
She asked for privacy as the family grieves this immense loss.
Actor John Travolta also paid tribute to Lisa Marie on Instagram. “I’m sorry, Lisa. I will miss you, but I believe we will meet again. In this tough time, I am thinking of Riley, Priscilla, Harper, and Finley in my prayers.”
Lisa Marie’s debut album, “To Whom It May Concern,” came out in 2003, followed by more albums and songs. She had been married four times.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Lisa Marie Presley. May she rest in peace.
