Sometimes, it takes several tries before things work out.
This is evident in the story of Daisy, a dog who goes through a lot with her puppies.
Sick and without a loving family, they don’t have a good start, but fortunately, fate takes a turn.
A lot of Care and Rest
Daisy and her eight puppies are rescued from an overcrowded animal shelter by the Muddy Paws Rescue organization.
The puppies are suffering from parvovirus, a severe viral disease, and require intensive care.
It’s unclear if they will survive, but eventually, the veterinarians give a positive update.
During this time, Daisy is separated from her puppies and has a hard time adjusting to her new surroundings, as pain and fear run deep.
After being adopted by a loving family in a quiet place, everyone is excited, thinking things will improve from here.
But Daisy has different plans.
A Bold Escape
“Much to everyone’s surprise, on the second day, Daisy managed to jump over the three-meter-high fence surrounding her new garden,”
says Mallory Kerley, Marketing Director of Muddy Paws Rescue. She continues,
“At first, she was spotted by the neighbors several times and almost caught a few times. But she couldn’t be caught, and the sightings decreased.
This was the start of a massive search effort involving our staff, volunteers, and practically the entire neighborhood!”
After another four days of worry, Daisy is spotted in a forest and rescued, luckily unharmed.
After her second rescue, Daisy finally begins to settle into her new home.
Her puppies have also found new families and are ready for a new chapter in their lives.
All the new parents stay in touch, making a reunion possible after one and a half years.
The family reunion is as heartwarming and charming as they imagined.
The puppies are now as big as their mom, everyone is happy to see them again and the adoptive parents also have a great time together.
The happy ending was a bit of a long time coming here, but in the end it was all the more beautiful.
