Breeders aim to pass on the best traits of breeding animals to the next generation. However, sometimes things don’t go as planned.

This is also the case for Mr. Muggles. The little bulldog wasn’t what the breeders had hoped for, so they rejected him.

Mr. Muggles has special needs

Fortunately, Blake took Mr. Muggles under his wing. He learns that Mr. Muggles ended up at Road Dogs and goes to pick him up there.

For this, he flies to LA and drives 17 hours back to Seattle by car because Mr. Muggles has hydrocephalus, preventing him from flying.

Hydrocephalus is a condition where fluid accumulates in the brain, increasing pressure and causing what is colloquially known as water head.

Blake is delighted to have Mr. Muggles around

Mr. Muggles really can’t complain about an unloving home because Blake takes great care of him.

Due to hydrocephalus, the bones in his head haven’t fused together. So, Blake came up with something special.

Being involved in the automotive industry, he creates a padded helmet for Mr. Muggles. Most dog helmets lack proper padding.

This allows him to give Mr. Muggles more freedom and not have to constantly keep an eye on him.

With his efforts, Blake has also won over the viewers of the video. @jackiefox7224 writes:

“What a sweet little soul. With the loving care of this gentleman, I hope Mr. Muggles will lead a long and healthy life. Bless their hearts.”
