At the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City, Ryan Reynolds excitedly shared the name of his youngest child with his wife, Blake Lively.
He addressed the crowd, saying, “I want to start by saying thank you to my wife, Blake, who is here.” He continued, “I’d like to thank my wonderful kids, Olin, Betty, Inez, and James. I hope this movie becomes the most thrilling event of your lives—that is, the movie’s content, not the premiere itself!”
“It’s great that my whole family is here,” he added, beaming.

Ryan, 47, and Blake, 36, have three daughters: Betty, 4; Inez, 7; and James, 9. After news broke that Blake was expecting a fourth child, the couple welcomed their new baby in February of the previous year.
On February 13, 2023, Ryan shared their excitement on CNBC’s Power Lunch, saying, “We are ecstatic. Look, if we didn’t love this, we wouldn’t keep doing it four times.”
He added, “Everyone is doing fantastic. Everyone is doing incredibly well. We’d be in serious trouble if we hadn’t figured it out by now.”
At the time, Ryan and Blake kept the name and gender of their new baby a secret. Ryan explained their tradition on Today, “We never find out until the baby is born.” He smiled, adding, “I’m kind of hoping for a girl, but I’m ready for anything.”
