Dogs are often abandoned because people fail to fulfill their responsibilities. Fortunately, there are organizations like Sidewalk Specials that rescue these animals.

When they respond to a call about a dog living on the streets, hungry and scared, the dog behaves strangely.

The dog doesn’t want to leave his friend

The Sidewalk Specials team feeds the dog with small snacks, but he refuses to come along. Instead, he leads them to another dog.

The dog doesn’t want to leave without his friend, who appears to have been used for breeding, is very shy, and infested with ticks.

Both dogs are sick and cold, so the rescuers don’t want to leave them alone. To make matters worse, a storm is on the way.

Unfortunately, the rescuers know that there isn’t enough space and money to care for both dogs.

Out of the Storm

Nevertheless, they don’t want to abandon the dogs to their fate and hope for a miracle. So, they take them in and hope for the best.

Fortunately, over time, some people have called and agreed to take in animals. One of them adopts one of the dogs fairly soon.

In the video linked below, at the end, there is a plea to give the second dog a chance.

Viewers are moved by the rescuers’ efforts and concerned about the first dog’s friend. User @faithsan4076 writes:

In an update, it is reported that the second dog has also found a home.
