Stray dogs exist all around the world. Dogs that have been abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Unfortunately, accidents are also part of their daily lives.
In Mexico, a stray dog is hit by a car. After the accident, she can no longer use her hind legs. Fortunately, she is rescued by two tourists.
Injured and in danger
When the dog is found, the accident likely occurred several days ago. Despite her injuries and fear, she allows the two tourists to approach and take her with them.
They immediately take her to a veterinarian, where she receives treatment and surgery. On the way, she clings to the woman holding her on her lap in the car.
Along with her injured hind legs, the dog also has many swellings, including one on her head.
Already on the second day after surgery, she looks much calmer and healthier.
Thriving in Her New Home
After a week, she is discharged by the veterinarian, and her rescuers bring her to the United States. She is given the name Bunny.
In her new home, she gets to know more dogs, who greet her with friendliness. Bunny’s expression changes. She no longer looks as tormented and sad.
At first, she is carried in a backpack for walks. However, it becomes apparent that a long-term solution is needed.
After a month, Bunny receives a wheelchair. The joy is immense. Bunny can finally go for walks on her own. And the people love her.
The viewers of the video are delighted about Bunny’s rescue.
“Bunny has such a sweet personality. I could imagine her working as a therapy dog in a children’s hospital. Thank you to the rescuers, caregivers, and medical professionals who gave this dog a new life,”
