Most parents wish for grandchildren. They want to know that the family will continue and spoil their grandkids.
Frida’s mother is also eagerly awaiting grandchildren. With five children, that shouldn’t be a problem, but a grandchild is not in sight yet.
But does it have to be a human grandchild?
Einstein Enters the Family’s Life
Frida and her partner Maria adopt a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, whom they name Einstein.
Many people have prejudices against Staffies, as the breed is affectionately known. Some don’t find them cute or believe they are aggressive.
But Einstein proves just the opposite. When he arrives at his new home, he immediately relaxes on his bed, knowing he belongs there.
When he’s not resting, he enjoys cuddling on one of his moms’ laps and loves being petted.
Otherwise, he might be a bit of a drama queen, but by no means is he aggressive.
Frida’s Mother Loves Einstein Too!
The best part is that Frida’s mother now has a sort of substitute grandchild. She adores the white Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Her favorite thing is to lie down on the floor together with Einstein and rub his belly because he loves that.
Since Einstein enjoys sitting at the table, he even gets his own chair.
He’s always where Frida’s mother is. By now, he’s genuinely her grandchild, and Frida fears that her mother loves him more than she loves her.
Einstein Demonstrates Acting Skills
The Staffy doesn’t like being alone, but it can’t be avoided when the two women are at work.
They’ve set up cameras everywhere to check on their beloved pet from time to time.
Einstein is clever and quickly figures this out. To make his “cruel” situation as a lonely dog evident, he sits in front of the camera with a mournful expression.
He’s the poorest and most pitiful dog, and his moms should come home immediately!
What a clever dog!
Frida and Maria can’t be mad at Einstein and are even more delighted to come home.
