These dogs, accustomed to a life of breeding for profit, are now experiencing love and proper care for the first time. Notably, one of the Schnauzers is pregnant, and the entire group of breeding dogs is finally receiving the attention they deserve.

Another recent intake involves kittens and Chihuahua puppies that were raised together in substandard conditions within a hoarder-type home. These newcomers joined the ongoing stream of dogs arriving at the rescue. Some dogs are surrendered to the rescue when their owners can no longer provide care, such as Sunny, an Australian Shepherd puppy. Sunny was confined outdoors in a crate 24/7 because her owners felt she had too much energy.

All the animals under the care of Friends With Four Paws currently reside in foster homes. Foster homes are invaluable for dogs with challenging pasts, as the loving environment aids in their rehabilitation before adoption. These dogs receive nourishment, affection, and attentive care.
