Thanks to such donations, numerous animals have already been saved.
Refurbished Pets of Southern Michigan (RPSM) discovered Parker on his own as a stray. Given his probable lack of close interaction with humans, he exhibited skittishness and fear, particularly towards unfamiliar and loud sounds like smoke alarms, vacuums, and lawn mowers. Despite knowing it would take considerable time for Parker to warm up to humans, his rescuers were committed to providing him a better life.
RPSM is a beneficiary of donations from the GOODS Program, and thanks to these generous contributions, Parker had the opportunity to enjoy healthy food, treats, toys, and other necessities—perhaps for the first time in his life.
Parker’s Journey to a Forever Home!
During his time at the rescue, Parker underwent training to help him realize that not everything had to be frightening. As he gained confidence, a wonderful family with kids adopted him, and Parker now revels in playing with his newfound companions. His progress since being rescued has been remarkable.
